Research and Development

Using the GNT plasma generators, experiments on high voltage and plasma excitation can be carried out in a clear and safe manner. The resulting shining phenomena make gas fillings visually perceptible and allow conclusions to be drawn on the gas composition based on the intensity and the color.

Plasma technology is used in a wide range of research applications. The digital signal generation of the GNT devices allows all output parameters of the plasma generators to be individually adjustable and absolutely reproducible, allowing for a wide range of variations in experimental research.

For instance, the presence of noxious gases like Hydrogen can be detected without destroying the test sample.

Very low vacuum down to the µBar range can be identified by the  typical greenish to grey light emissions.
